The Talent Acquisition Specialist is a critical role that reports to our People Experience Lead providing support and leading recruitment initiatives across the organization. You are an experienced recruiter with a with a deep understanding of the pivotal role recruitment plays in the success of a business. You have an innovative approach to recruitment and a creative mindset when it comes to figuring out how to attract the right talent. Our philosophy is to ensure this role gives you stretch so you can continually grow.   

What you’ll be doing day-to-day:  

  • Managing the delivery of all recruitment activities, recruitment market trends analysis vendor management, analysis of recruitment metrics, and other recruitment services 

  • Providing recommendations and solutions with a focus on continuous improvement and best practice covering all areas of recruitment 

  • Partnering with managers, front line leaders, People and Culture Advisors and the People Experience Lead to build and implement Recruitment solutions in line with our business needs

  • Understanding current and future resourcing requirements and leading the coordination of recruitment activities to engage and appoint the right talent at the right time 

  • Partnering with and educating managers and front-line leaders to ensure sound working knowledge of recruitment systems and processes 

  • Promote and undertake activities that align with “Employer of Choice” best practice

  • Consulting with the People and Culture Advisor and line managers to lead or assist with specific recruitment initiatives, projects, and assignments

  • Mentoring other members of the Talent team around recruitment processes and delivery 

  • Actively participating as a member of Enlighten for the purposes of delivering optimum recruitment services 

Qualifications Technical Skills and Knowledge:

  • Tertiary qualification in business, administration, or human resource management (ideal) 

  • 5+ years’ experience managing and delivering the full recruitment process, from advertising to onboarding new employees

  • Experience with implementing and delivering on proactive recruitment strategies

  • Working knowledge of LinkedIn Corporate for search (Ideal) 

  • Strong consulting, negotiation, and facilitation skills

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including ability to present information in a way that positively inspires and influences others

  • Understanding of Recruitment Best Practices 

  • Strong interviewing and role analysis skills 

  • Relationship management and influencing skills 

  • Knowledge of current employment legislation and 'Employer of Choice' practices

  • Highly service oriented with a curious mind and the desire to contribute real value through delivering effective recruitment services
